Running out of things to do in Singapore? Check out Punggol’s new gem – Northshore Plaza. The mall is divided into two sections, Northshore Plaza I and II, with the former already accessible to the public and the latter slated to open in the first quarter of 2022. Here are 5 things you can consider doing at this new mall:

Chomp your way through the wide myriad of Singaporean delights

Name it, they have it – Downstairs, Fun Toast, Sixth Floor Oyster Cake, Grove and many more! Sixth Floor Oyster Cake sells little fried pockets of blessings which have been garnering long queues, so be prepared to wait. You can too consider getting your local favourites at Downstairs, a relatively new restaurant launched by Song Fa Bak Kut Teh. Expect Salted Egg Chicken Nasi Lemak, Hainanese Pork Cutlet Rice and even tea time snacks such as the Luncheon Meat & Egg Bun set. If you have hopped on the meatless bandwagon or simply looking for a good bowl of Truffle La Mian, Grove’s got your back.

Grab all your groceries at one go!

Northshore Plaza could be your one-stop shop for your grocery shopping. Giant Supermarket provides all kinds of necessities from home appliances to fresh fruits and vegetables to furniture. For the more health conscious, stock up on all your wholefoods, health foods and superfood supplies at The Source Bulk Foods. Northshore Plaza even has RedMan by Phoon Huat which carries a huge range of baking supplies.

Jio your family and friends to supper

Several, or in fact, many would declare Hai Di Lao as one of their favorite supper spots on the island. After a fun night out, midnight movie with your partner, or sometimes, even when you’re just lying in bed at midnight, a boiling pot of delicious, rich soup filled with goodies calls out to you. With the new Hai Di Lao outlet opening at Northshore Plaza. North-Easties can soon look forward to one more outlet at their doorsteps.

Go shopping at Singapore’s hottest sporting goods destination, Decathlon

Did you know that you can access 5000 products from 60 different sports at Decathlon? Isn’t that insane? Comb through aisles and aisles of fascinating, perhaps even never-seen-before sporting goods. If you are looking for some maintenance or repair services for your bicycles, you may be glad to know that Decathlon does offer these in selected stores which includes the Northshore Plaza outlet. Even if you’re not a sports junkie, it can be quite an eye-opening experience and who knows, you may even take an interest in a new sport there!

Check out the unique infrastructure and seaview

A waterfront shopping experience is not something you can easily find in Singapore. The idea of having a satisfying meal with your loved ones in the mall and then heading outdoors to soak up the view sounds like a pretty good plan on a wind-down weekend. The mall also comes with smart systems including lighting, fans, waste management and carpark facilities. Talk about a new generation of malls!

So, are you excited? Plan a trip down and let us know how you think it fares compared to its neighbour, Waterway Point!
